1. February was great, only trolling with lures on Lough Derg. 2. Not easy on some days in the thick fog. 3. In winter time you can expect heavy Pike. 4. And in good condition this 20+ pounder 5. Big Lures are the favourites so far. 6. Not all the fish are big but eight on a day is perfect for me. 7. The colours and stripes on this Pike are realy perfect, even the tail. 8. Only a weekend in Ireland for a great fishing trip, again a 20+ pounder!! 9. Same fish but making more pictures in winter time is not a problem. 10. A big Nilsmaster did its job, this pike looks realy big. 11. Bigger than the other 20+ pounders not heavier. 12. This is a grower, men, hope to see this one back in a while. 13. Smaller deep diving lures on the difficult days. 14. Well this weekend was top for them 15. February 2010 Report

It was cold and wet but the fishing was great on most days in february, trolling only with lures.

We start that month with Mark and Bas staying here only for a weekend without to much expectations but instead great results.

Followed by Bas and Johan from Belgium who come here every year in this month because they love the fat winter pike.
