The European Pike Angling Challenge, which will take place for the 20st time on Lough Derg this year, will be held over three fishing days.

Local competitions are always held on a Sunday with lesser participants but the prize giving in typical Irish pubs are super entertaining with nice prizes.

The International Pike Fly Competition is also held on Lough Derg normally on the Saturday before The European Pike Challenge and fished in one day.

The Predator Tour is another concept as it is a travelling tournament taking place in several European Countries.
