Travel Information.

There are various ways to reach Ireland by air and then travel to the B&B fisHerman in Killaloe.

www.aerlingus.com or www.ryanair.com flies to Cork or Dublin and is very popular because you can bring more luggage than with Ryanair and the departing airport is often closer to home.
Also, the journey is more pleasant. Once arrived, you should rent a car or take the train to Limerick.

Travel by train to Limerick is very easy and not expensive, look at www.irishrail.ie. At the airport you can take a taxi or bus.

  • Dublin Airport to Heuston Station 45 min
  • Cork Airport to the Kent Station 10 min

Prices for a return train ticket:

  • Kent Station Cork – Limerick 35 Euro.
  • Heuston Station Dublin – Limerick 45 Euro.

These trains and buses are very modern and comfortable with special areas for luggage.

Travelling by bus to Limerick is also interesting as they depart directly from the airport and therefore you won’t need to take a taxi or bus to the train stations.

From Dublin Airport to Bird Hill with www.jjkavanagh.ie. The bus runs 8 times daily and takes about 3.5 hours to Birdhill. An open return ticket (adult return) costs 28 Euro and is valid for 45 days.

From Cork Airport to Limerick Henrystreet with www.citylink.ie. This bus runs 5 times per day and takes about 2 hours to Limerick. An open return ticket (adult return) costs 18 Euro and is valid for one month.
